Head of Revenue

Position Summary

Our company is on the hunt for a talented and experienced revenue leader to join our growing team. We need a self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in business development. In this position, you will be responsible for developing strategic plans, preparing budgets, coordinating sales training programs, directing sales activities, and ensuring the growth of the company’s sales. Overall, this role will look for ways to increase the company’s revenue and sales. Our ideal candidate will be a natural leader and have the ability to inspire and motivate our team. They should have excellent communication skills and the ability to create and maintain relationships with current and potential clients.

This role will include virtually and physically meeting with clients, designing strategic sales plans, and assessing costs and competition. In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Researching new markets and using the data to forecast sales, set performance goals, review strategies to increase revenue, and set operating budgets.
  • Devising and implementing new business initiatives and inbound/outbound sales strategies and monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Ensuring effective training programs for sales representatives and setting their sales goals, revenue targets, and KPIs.
  • Overseeing the company’s sales growth by evaluating sales reports and capitalizing on particular products or services.
  • Increasing the efficiency of business procedures by meeting with operational and sourcing departments.
  • Meeting with sales managers to assess the sales team’s performance and overseeing the performance management of underperforming staff members.
  • Presenting the company’s services at conferences and events.
  • Monitoring the sales activities of competitors and utilizing appropriate ideas.
  • Process inbound and outbound leads
  • Work with clients to better understand their business needs and goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and business development. Ideally, we are looking for candidates with experience and at least three to five years of professional experience in a sales or business development role.

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a business development or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and best practices.
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Accounting/Financial sales experience is a huge plus!
