In November 2016, Long Beach approved the regulatory portion of Measure MM.  This made it legal to operate a medical marijuana business within the city.  The City of Long Beach currently allows for five types of medical marijuana permits including dispensaries, cultivation, manufacturing, distribution and testing labs.
