In November 2016, Long Beach approved the regulatory portion of Measure MM.  This made it legal to operate a medical marijuana business within the city.  The City of Long Beach currently allows for five types of medical marijuana permits including dispensaries, cultivation, manufacturing, distribution and testing labs. Check out the map that showcases current licensed medical marijuana businesses in Long Beach.  You can also see the full details about Long Beach’s medical marijuana application process here.  Although there’s no guarantee that the adult-use marijuana application process will be the same, it does provide a good indicator of what the adult-use process could be.
